The plants like the rain and heat.

Including, alas, the weeds.  I'll be needing to employ various weed-control measure in the next few days.

Looks like the first round of sweet corn will be, as the saying goes, knee-high by the Fourth of July.  (In Sunnyvale it'd be as high as a cow-pony's eye by the Fourth of June, but we didn't have winter back there, so planting in March was a thing.)

And!  First tomatoes should be coming ripe in a couple of days.

Ripe tomatoes? The best thing for ripe tomatoes is a bacon-lettuce-tomato sandwich!
You'll have the tomatoes, you'll need the lettuce (unless you're growing that) & bacon from the store.
