The wood-shopping expedition is postponed for a few days.
I did get out shopping for the skinny fluorescent tubes (box of 10, to keep those fixtures going for several more years or until I get around to replacing them with LED fixtures) and HVAC filters, plus the Walmart run for supplies.
Looks like the price of eggs has gotten somewhat more reasonable, at least around here. The backyard ones have more flavor, though, and it's nice having a private flock to ensure an ongoing supply. Which reminds me: a neighbor is supposed to be getting into the chicken thing this Spring; I should see if he needs help/suggestions.
Π is in the oven. Pumpkin, with tweaks to the recipe (extra egg, reduced sugar, milk reduced and changed to heavy cream, better spices substituted). Smells good.
Oh, and FedEx delivered a big fluffy box this morning: 6 cubic feet of perlite, which I figure to use as soil tenderizer in the root-vegetables zone.
