Sneaky chemicals

Some substances are just escape artists.

Usually they eat their way through containers, but not always.

I just went out to the garage to refresh my memory on the presence, or lack thereof, of brazing materials.

I found silver brazing wire, and a jar of corresponding flux.

Turns out the flux had been leaking out of its jar.

Out the top of the jar.

The jar, having been opened once, had been sitting there upright for a couple of years.  The flux had somehow been managing to creep up the inside and out under the cap.

I think it needs some sort of secondary containment.
