And... I woke up with a headache. Adding caffeine made it worse. I really should go back to bed, but can't for at least a couple of hours.
Those flashbacks that started Wednesday night are continuing. Making me ponder, in many aspects, the Trousers of Time, and how a slight change in, say, 1976 could have drastically altered the course of my life - in ways somewhat predictable, in general terms, for the following couple of years and filled with unknowable possibilities both good and ill thereafter.
No, this is not a subject about which I'm prepared to elaborate under my own name. It would need to be thoroughly laundered and published as fiction.
Anyway... got toaster stuff to work on over the weekend, and into the coming week. I didn't get nearly enough done yesterday. And the household to-do list keeps getting more longer than shorter.
Mnfxt. Headache getting more worser. Need nap. Various cats are misbehaving.
1976 was the year I joined the Coast Guard, I can't imagine what life would look like if I hadn't done that. Just not enough imagination I guess...
Over the years there have been a number of decisions where I can see how things would have changed if I'd decided differently. I try not to dwell on those because they are indeed "water under the bridge".
Although...if I had a time machine I wouldn't take the govt quarters across from the power lines, I would have commuted how ever far it was to affordable housing. I truly believe those power lines were the cause of Aurora's leukemia.
I hope you can get a handle on these headaches you wake up with!

I eventually got a nap, and the headache mostly went away. Weather was nice, so instead of stuff I should have been doing indoors I got some outdoors stuff done.
Tomorrow, rain. Looks like a mostly wet week coming up, so there'll be plenty of time for indoors stuff.
Hm. Time to fill the humidifier. I must remember to do that sometime during the day, and then top it up at bedtime.
