The weather forecast showed tomorrow being opening day of the Winter mud season, so I figured I'd better get various stuff done - including anything that needed doing before Spring and involved driving the tractor on the lawn.
So, park the tiller (a considerable pain, with the damaged PTO shaft guard; I had to trim some of the damage off, and should probably look into replacing the guard), put on the box blade (the driveway will need a scrape soon), swap the loader bucket for the pallet forks, move various pallets from the lawn to a storage area, put the bucket back on, ant put everything away.
Also made a Wally World run this morning, ahead of the week or so of rain.
And now the forecast is for probably some rain tonight and tomorrow (rather than definitely a whole bunch), and maybe there'll be a few non-rainy days in the coming week. Maybe.
Meanwhile, it looks like something - maybe even the cover vegetation I planted! - is coming up in the fields. Another week of moderate rain and not too much freezing, and maybe the little plants will develop strong enough root systems to slow down erosion.
