... and global financial markets are turning various shades of yellow, orange, and red, and falling.

Update:  Centipede is dramatically down.  Two hypotheses are on offer in the headlines:

FTSE 100 drops sharply after UK unveils biggest tax cuts in 50 years

or:

FTSE 100 closes 1% lower as BoE hikes interest rates

Hmmmm.  I suppose if I looked around, I could find it blamed on a plague of voles in Uzbekistan.
