Many of these on the sunflowers, but the light was better here.
This would seem to be a leaf-footed bug, Leptoglossus wossname. I'm not much of an etymologist, but I think that means its tongue has half-integer spin or something.
The chickens ate a couple of them. Something, whether bugs or tweety-birds, seems to have eaten dang near all the seeds out of the sunflowers.
