The inch of rain currently falling is doing so with 34% probability.
OK, so that was half an hour ago. Latest update is a 63% probability of 0.04" of rain. Which is about the amount that definitely fell in the time it took me to type this.
I gotta get my own rain-probability gauge. Now, where can I find a suitably improbable material for the float...?
Tackle shop for the float.

Have to be a special float for an unlikely species of fish, though. I think fish around here tend to be about as probable as rain, so using a regular bobber as a probability float doesn't work out.
I need to dig out my copy of Science Made Stupid and review how probability floats work.

You leave the float in a cup outside, if it's floating it probably has rained.
You're welcome :-)
