I recently ordered two identical packages of mini solar panels from Amazon. Both were expected to arrive yesterday (order two packages at once, expect them to ship together and arrive the same day). For some reason, they showed in tracking as separate shipments, but whatever.
One arrived yesterday, as expected (while we still had a mailbox). The other was running behind schedule, for whatever reason; tracking showed it as "expected today by 8:00 PM" until well after that time. This morning, it shows as "probably today or tomorrow", but with no further information beyond this:
USPS doesn't like that tracking number... maybe because it's not in the right format? Doesn't that look more like a UPS tracking number? But UPS doesn't recognize it either.
I wonder who really has the package, assuming it actually exists.
Update: Some hours later, Amazon shows it as "Shipped with UPS", which matches the tracking number. Looks like it was handed off to UPS this evening. And! UPS now shows it as expected to arrive tomorrow.
