But maybe there'll be more actual free speech on the platform, complete with the dreaded prospect of seeing opinions that don't validate one's identity-group alignment.
(Li'l anecdote: while I'd managed to get exposed to things a little outside the bubble I was brought up in, it wasn't until the growth of the post-9/11 blogosphere that I really started to get exposed to the thoughts of people whose backgrounds were very different from my own... and to realize that, very often, their perspectives made more sense than mine. Being exposed to differing perspectives, and giving them due consideration, is important - as is retaining the right to raise vehement objections to the ones that are truly abominable.)
