Did a bit of mowing today, around the front lawn and the field expansion. Still not caught up, but there's definite progress.
I have the feeling I'll need to declare a mower maintenance day soon, to swap the blades out for decently sharp ones and to inspect everything related to the left hydrostat, which I think I may not have reinstalled quite correctly last year - the handling is a bit funny.
Later on (and having already achieved about 80% of my summer tan), I put in a bit more time on assembling the Ender-6. It's mostly going smoothly, with a couple of bobbles when I didn't pay enough attention to the instructions or misinterpreted something. But, a complication: the 3D-printed clamp that's supposed to secure the carriage cable to the top rear frame rail is installed with screws that are just too doggone short, and there was just now way I was going to clamp that wire loom with that clamp and those screws.
Good thing I had a metric capscrew assortment; two M3x20 capscrews later, the wire loom was secured.
Might get it the rest of the way together this evening, after dinner. Or maybe not.
Oh, and in the great outdoors? Another neighbor seems to be starting a victory garden. Gardening appears to be a very popular thing this year, perhaps for a reason.
