Much headache. Very ugh.

I had a bit of a headache first thing this morning... it had been getting a bit worse... then....

We were having the concrete front porch resurfaced.  A crew was out Saturday grinding off the old, extremely rough and uneven finish.  Today was sealing.

I'm not sure if it's the urethane monomer or some other VOC in the coating, but being in the general vicinity of that operation has made the headache a whole bunch worse.  So much for the thinky-work I'd expected to get done this afternoon.

Oh, well.  Porch is done now, and in this weather it shouldn't take too long for the coating to cure.

(It's probably not the urethane monomer.  I've used urethane varnishes on wood within the last few months without notable headaches.)
