Bugs in the garden? Ever hear of the "chicken moat"?

Heard of the chicken moat, yes. Impractical at this point, as I'd need to put in a double fence - maybe a good idea, but not happening this year. I'm not sure we'll even manage to put in a single fence this year, but I'm keeping a wide boundary zone mowed short, and plan on applying bunny repellent when the plants are looking a bit more tempting.

The double fence also keeps the deer from jumping the first fence. Probably doesn't do much for rabbits... :-)
