Had a handyman around yesterday; he's supposed to be working up a quote on a bunch of (mostly exterior) work on the house & barn.
This is mostly stuff we knew needed doing when we bought the place, and that we'd expected to get done between summer of 2019 and sometime last year, but things were behind schedule and then 2020 happened.
There are a few other things we need to arrange (notably, house & barn painting) that'll need schedules coordinated.
And then there are a couple of big projects, like getting the barn transformed into a proper workshop. Need to upgrade electrical service, run the added capacity over to a sub-panel at the barn, add various outlets and lighting and a heat pump and drywall, and maybe even add plumbing, which implies a new septic system just for the workshop. And we still want to turn the seasonal swamp into a glorious big year-round pond, and get the driveway repaired and extended, and....
Yeah, lots of stuff we didn't get to last year. We're trying to get most of it done this year.
