Seems the Younger Generation disapproves of the dreaded dot at the end of a sentence.
The explanation given seems to involve SMS messaging, and the notion that any complete thought should fit in a single short message, with no need to break it up into sentences.
Which pretty much gets us into bumper sticker slogan territory. If it doesn't fit on a bumper sticker, it's immorally complex.
