Doctors at John Muir Medical Center in Walnut Creek say they have seen more deaths by suicide during this quarantine period than deaths from the COVID-19 virus.
Hm. And we haven't (at least in the U.S.) seen Famine nor War, yet. Rumors of Famine, yes, and stirrings of War, but not much in the way of casualties so far.
Sounds like Despair is doing a bang-up job, though. And eventually we'll see the statistics for treatable, non-contagious* medical conditions that go untreated - cancer, strokes, heart attacks, and so forth. Not sure if we chalk those up to Fear or to Central Planning.
* If they're contagious, they go in Pestilence's column, even if they're not the currently fashionable pestilence.
