Yup, those scattered thunderstorms this morning do seem to be a thing.
Update: Seen out my office window, with a long lens:
Yeah, that was a humdinger all right.
Update 2: There's a small puddle in the basement, right under where the front porch meets the front of the actual house. I'm not sure exactly how it got there, but there's also a wet area on the front porch, where the wind apparently drove the rain all the way back to the front of the house. I think some supplemental caulking may be in order, once things get dried out.
