I've never really gone new car shopping like that but I have researched used vehicles where what they weigh & such matters. Edmunds.com is where i go, they may have what you need on your new truck search.
FWIW I see so many really nice looking trucks around that I don't think a lot of people care what they can carry.

On a separate subject if you're getting a truck to use as a truck give some thought to a https://loadhandler.com/ . It really works!

Loadhandler... interesting! Bookmarked for when the time comes; thanks!

I'm thinking that bulk stuff probably rides in a utility trailer, but such details are still TBD (especially if I end up buying a 12-year-old truck instead of a new one).
