Have you thought about putting a hitch on the front of front of the truck? It's a lot easier pushing trailers around & putting a receiver/ball on the front is not spendy at all.

That's a potentially useful thought. Small tractor for around home; fore-and-aft hitches on the truck for elsewhere.
Onto the ideas list it goes!

Back in the day, when I worked at a boat store, we used a cub cadet with balls mounted on both front and rear for moving trailers and boats around the lot.

If you do this, watch out for weight issues. We had about 100lbs of plate mounted on the front to keep from popping wheelies.

Nice thing is, once you do this, a cheap utility trailer, like from Harbor Fright, can be modified for doing yard work.
