Woke up this morning feeling like I'd had dinner at Schrödinger's - "an indeterminate time later, you'll be both hungry and not hungry."
Kind of an empty-stomach-but-no-appetite thing. A modest-sized breakfast didn't help, nor did a cheeseburger at lunchtime.
Morning walkies was normal (about 5 miles in vaguely 1.8 hours including a farm stop on the return leg), but here it is not even noon and I'm persistently drowsy.
Probably some sort of metabolic thing. Maybe I should re-align my diet or something. That, and keep up regular morning walkies after having missed a week.
Update: Possibly it's something infectious; Joy seems to be having similar symptoms a day later. My second-day symptoms are mainly a headache and complete inability to focus, along with minor nose & throat crud.
Update 2: ... Or maybe Joy has something else entirely? She's developed a moderate fever and severe nausea, which don't match what I had. Meanwhile, by the wee hours of the third day, my remaining symptoms seem related to lack of sleep. Usually, I'm the one who gets clobbered by whatever virus is going around (though, come to think of it, I don't seem to have had my usual horrible cold the past winter).
