Insty linked to this article; on beginning to read it, I noted this bit:
... it is a bit much to claim “collusion” – a secret conspiracy – given that, during the election campaign, Trump very publicly called on the Russians to hack and leak Hillary Clinton’s missing emails.
Er, no. It was pretty clear at the time that Trump was assuming (as were many of us who have some clue about computer security) that the Russians had long since hacked Hillary's server and obtained all of her e-mails, and was suggesting that they hand over the ones that our own government didn't have.
Besides which, by the time he made that remark it was far too late to do any such hacking, as the e-mails in question had already been deleted and the server taken down.
The bulk of the article, dealing with class warfare and the economic grind, seems to make sense (tl;dr - I only have so much essay-reading time first thing in the morning). But this anomaly, coming so near the beginning, kind of jumped out at me.
