Ugh. Between a dose of pseudoephedrine (on top of having had too much caffeine lately) and what turns out to be a pseudoephedrine-resistant sinus headache, I've been awake for about an hour.
It doesn't help that all three cats are also awake. While I was trying to sleep, Huckleberry was galloping around the bedroom looking for mischief to get into, then when he calmed down a bit Top Hat started playing with her rattly mouse, tossing it to herself and making quite a commotion, and then Southmoon came in looking for attention.
So, up way early. Guess I'll get out for very early walkies, and maybe do a long route at an easy pace. But it's still much too early for that.
... Oops. This isn't the day for long walkies; I plan on spending the afternoon at the Sensors Expo, in - oog- San Jose. Which means I'm not taking an afternoon nap, and also I probably don't want to wear out my feet in the morning.
Maybe I should go back to bed now, and try to have a normal morning. At least the cats seem to be settling down.
Update: Huckleberry hadn't really calmed down. He just summoned Great Cthulhu. Again. And is vigorously playing with It.
Update 2: I must have had a weird morning yesterday, too, and somehow forgotten it. When I went to take my morning geezer pills today, I found the Tuesday-morning pills still in the dispenser.
