Hey, it's spring out there!

Let's ignore the noise for a moment, and go look at owls.

Yup, that's Mommy Owl and Little Fuzzy Gray Lumpy Baby Owl.  I'll probably stop by sometime next week and take another picture.

Also, up at the pond: li'l baby duckies!

Given the timestamp on the photo, these must be from the second group.  (Clutch?  No, before they hatched, they were a clutch.  What's the proper term for a litter of ducklings?)

There are three sets: the first has eleven members; the second, a couple of weeks younger, has nine; and the most recent, five.  So, the Eleven, the Nine, and the Five.  Not to be confused with the Three, the Seven, and the Nine.
