Suppose, in some entirely hypothetical scenario, that there's some law forbidding person P from performing act A. Punishable by maybe a fine, so that makes it an infraction, right?
Now suppose further that person Q offers P a financial incentive to violate that law - perhaps in the form of an offer to pay the fine, to provide free legal representation, or both.
Suppose yet further that this is not a challenge to the law, per se, as in the Scopes Monkey Trial, but that Q wishes to have A performed by P for the benefit of Q or some cause that Q supports.
This... sounds kinda illegal, dunnit? Do the conspiracy statutes apply if the intended crime is an infraction?
