Apparently also the name of a band

Aw.  Here I thought I'd come up with a handy neologism: deimocracy, rule by terror.

Turns out someone else is already using it for a plausible alternative meaning, rule by dread.

Which, using dread and terror in their more traditional meanings, comes out to about the same thing.  I was kinda making a stretch to use the contemporary sense of terror.

Searching for the term also turns up rather a lot of typos.  And stuff about a band.
