When the cats see the flea-powder can, they run away. If I try to sneak up on them with a handful of the stuff, they run away as soon as they figure out what's going on.
Seems they don't like the smell. I can't smell it. Must be one of those very high-pitched smells, beyond the human olfactory spectrum.
Good grief , flea powder is so Pre-Cambrian. Go to your local market and buy the stuff that you put on the back of the cat's neck that lasts for a month. Costs mere pennies.

Actually, I tried the cheap back-of-the-neck flea drops from the local market. Messy, and didn't work for beans. Too late, I checked the reviews on Amazon, and found many reports of nasty side effects (as well as not being very effective).
I may end up trying the expensive flea drops that get mostly-good reviews.
I'd been using the capsules (open capsule, mix contents with their favorite food), but they've figured that one out.
