Toward the end of walkies, someone mentioned the possibility of a bit of rain later in the morning.
Arriving home, I checked the forecast: maybe some scattered rain from late morning through evening.
And, yes, we've had that today: the kind of scattered minor precipitation that sometimes turns up in spring around these parts. Except that it also brought a bit of thunder.
Well, it's late afternoon now, and the deluge has arrived; rain intensity is around winter maximum, and not at all mid-May weather.
Probably won't help much with the drought, though. Still gotta buy out some of those alfalfa farmers.
