OK, so Question 0(c):
From what country does your surname originate?
Er.
The name is German, but comes from my Swedish great-grandfather's older brother.
So I guess, for my family's purposes, it originates from the U. S. of A.
And so I skip that one....
On clicking the insufficiently-fine-grained answers to the actual quiz:
Political Values
Progressivism 80 Socialism 25 Tenderness 50
Your test scores indicate that you are an open-minded progressive; this is the political profile one might associate with a journalist. It appears that you are skeptical towards religion, and have a generally optimistic attitude towards humanity in general.
Your attitudes towards economics appear capitalist, and combined with your social attitudes this creates the picture of someone who would generally be described as a libertarian.
To round out the picture you appear to be, political preference aside, a sensible radical egalitarian with several strong convictions.
Not sure how they define "Progressivism", but the test appears to be from a Brit perspective. While I may share some of the underlying values of capital-P Progressives, I'm firmly opposed to their penchant for trying to impose such values by force.
Oh, and journalists being open-minded? Not in modern America. To today's professional journalists, I'm very nearly the epitome of evil.
But, radical egalitarian? Yeah, that's me*.
(Via Classical Values.)
* I should perhaps clarify my interpretation of "radical egalitarian": I strongly oppose privilege, and support equality before the law. I am most assuredly not a radical leveler, i.e., one who seeks to enforce equality of outcome.
