...continues to fall behind schedule. The assembly house (the second one, which, unlike the first, was clear on the concept of quick-turn prototype runs) was absolutely, positively going to ship the boards Monday. The client, upon receiving the boards, would check whatever boxes needed checking on the paperwork, then run them over to SVR Central.
Well, the boards did ship Monday. To come other company. In a far-off state.
At last report, the inadvertent recipient was going to ship them directly to me, so maybe I'll have them Friday, to get some work done over the weekend.
And, what with the schedule slip so far, we'll be frantically trying to get back on track during the holiday season. Which is also the winter-virus season. With the usual assortment of colds and probably three strains of flu running wild.
Meanwhile, there's software to be written, and a test fixture of sorts to be built, so the time won't be a total waste. Oh, and food to be cooked, and a cold to be recuperated from.
Guess I should get busy.
