Last week,I stopped by J. C. Penney and bought three basic lightweight cotton short-sleeved shirts that were on sale at a reasonable sort of price.
This morning I put one of them on, and noticed that it lacks a pocket.
So do the other two. Three shirts, two makers, zero pockets.
Maybe that's why they were marked down - the pockets are missing!
Well, I guess they're OK for days when I don't need my pencil, pen, PDA, and notepaper. Which, pretty much, is hiking days. These shirts are OK for hiking, but I was thinking more along the lines of work days when I picked them out.
And now I still need a couple of new, respectable summer workday shirts, and apparently I need to add "with pockets" to the checklist, as pockets seem no longer to be standard equipment.
