Wandering away, for a moment, from the task of tracing signals through the wires and firmware of yet another new contraption, I came across another one of those civics-test thingies.
And, whaddya know: I got 33 of 33 right. Not that a lot of thinking was required on most of them. How the heck is the average score on that thing a measly 77.7%? People are getting an average of 7.4 of those questions wrong?

Update: now the average is down to 49%, with college educators averaging 55% and, apparently, elected officials coming in at 44% (this link via Slashdot). Oy.
Maybe the early takers were mostly wingnuts and milblog readers, bringing the early average up to the aforementioned miserable 77.7%?
