For years, there have been rumors that Microsoft had a secret plan to treat Linux to its Adopt, Adapt, and Improve Embrace, Extend, and Extinguish program.
Until now, there's never been proof.
Earlier this evening, I was taking Tinga for a walk in Mountain View, and spotted a little black-and-white critter by the trail. Then a whole heap of little black-and-white critters.
Now, you might think these were just baby two-tone kitties. That was my first impression. Then I realized: just the other side of the trail was Microsoft's Mountain View facility! If these critters had escaped from the lab, they must be... well, what's black and white, and associated with software? Right! Penguins!
These must be a pre-release version of the penguin mascot for MS-Linux!
Luckily, I remembered that my PDA has a built-in camera, and managed to snap some photos.

MS-Tux®? |
This must be an MS-Linux® cluster!
That reminds me of the time I informed my entire front office that I had a kitten sleeping under my office window.
They had to tell me it was really a racoon.
Duh on me! At least the colors were right.
