So here it is, my first full day of being unemployed, and I ended up working about seven and a half hours on paid consulting gigs. Also had to scale back my plans for Sunday, so I can work at a client site that afternoon. More work Monday afternoon (not the morning; that's reserved for a dentist visit and doing my laundry).
Oh, well - I had a nice half-day of standing around and drowning worms before the chaos broke loose. Anyway, I guess it's better to be working nearly full time on hourly consulting projects (which is the sort of thing I want to be doing anyway, just not so much right away) than to be working full time on a job hunt (as some people I know have done for months on end).
