Made a nice pot of chicken curry this evening.
I used about the usual amount of the usual curry powder (making it moderately spicy by my standards; fairly mild if you're Indian, over-the-top fierce if you're North Dakotan), plus a generous dollop of ginger, because why not?
I finished eating half an hour ago, and I'm still sweating profusely. Must be the ginger. Cleared out my sinuses real good, too, if only temporarily.
And now Southmoon wants to gnaw on my hand. She does seem to like a hint of curry (well, she is part Siamese). And goulash (go figure).
Afterthought: Maybe curry smells like Cloister the Student, god of the Cat People?
