Among other errands yesterday: find a new pillow.
It had occurred to me that the neck trouble I've been having the past few months could well be the result of a worn-out pillow that was failing to do its job. And the pain in my left hand is almost certainly the result of sleeping with my arm tucked underneath my head.
So, swing by Bed Bath & Beyond, and...
Owwwww! My nose! Good thing I still have a cold, or the flood of industrial perfumes would have driven me out of there instantly. Why do so many stores do that? Off in search of pillows, which if memory serves are hidden at the corner most remote from the entrance...
Owwwww! My pocketbook! Some of those pillows are priced north of $200! Who the smeg pays over $200 for a freakin' pillow?
But the kind that seems most suitable is "only" $40. And it should last me a couple of years, right? We shall see.
It does seem to work better than the old, worn-out one.
