Used to be a fine swamp out front of the place. Large expanse of shallow water, filled with birds. Wildlife habitat!
Now, no swamp. Just a level(-ish) expanse of mud/clay/landfill/something. Guess they're planning to expand into that space.
Well, ya can't triple the local population without upgrading some of the infrastructure, I guess. Water supply is still limited; I don't see much sign of upgrading the electrical grid, nor of repairing the roads (never mind increasing capacity); but sewage treatment is one of those things that get obvious more sooner than later.
