"On the left if you're consuming fake news you're 34 times more likely than the general population to be a college graduate," says Green.
Hello? 34 times more... um?
What's the probability that a randomly-selected member of the general population is a college graduate?
More'n 3%, right?*
So how can anything be 34 times more likely than that, hm?
I dunno what the quoted person actually said, but, as published, that statement is complete jabberwocky.
Those who write the news stories know nothing about everything.
* Google ⇒ Wikipedia: In the U.S., 32% or so have at least a bachelor's degree. Was this compared to the world's teeming billions, maybe? Or has the average lefty fake-news consumer graduated 10.88 times?
