I pilled a bol of blackberrie and cream on my keyboard yeterday evening, and no the "" and "" key don't ork.
hich i trange, given that the viible pill a on the other end of the keyboard.

... Or I could 5pell шord5 u5ing alternative glyph5.
Update: There was indeed a spare, oddball PS/2 keyboard around here. It apparently has nonstandard mapping, as cAPS lOCK and Backspace aren't recognized (not that I generally use capslock, but for some reason it was starting out active, and I couldn't turn it off). So, off to the store.
Keyboards with PS/2 plugs (or with dual-mode interfaces and USB-to-PS/2 plug adapters) seem to have gone out of fashion. The only keyboard Fry's had that even hinted at PS/2 was a seriously expensive model.
Oh, well. I bought a $15 USB-only Logitech, and will just have to move the cable when I need to talk directly to the server's console.
Post-relocation, I figure on having a new configuration, with a brand-new USB-and-HDMI KVM switch. And, probably, one of those fancy buckling-spring keyboards with a real-gorram-typewriter layout.
