Jefferies Downgrades Intel Corporation For Chasing New Markets
Yeah, this whole "new markets" thing is so totally lame!
Cobbler, stick to your last! Intel should have stuck to its core business of memory chips and microprocessors for industrial process control, and never let those funny little startup companies get their grubby little hands on their chips and try to make general-purpose computers out of them.
The actual story beneath the headline seems to be that the datacenter business is proving not to be eternal, and Intel is looking to other opportunities for the future. Which clearly is a bad idea, because obviously.
