'Bout 15-20 year back, I had a dream of a multi-leggèd personal transportation apparatus, having the general character of a classic VW Bug with 6, or possibly 8, excavator arms mounted thereto and a big honkin' hydraulic pump.
Now there's Project Hexapod!
'Course, mine was supposed to have a plasma cannon, but I guess you got to have the vehicle first, and you can always bolt on doodads later.
